Japanese Food Drops – Review

After seeing these things showing up on J-list, curiosity got the best of me and I had to try them, so I decided to place my order for 2 types, one “meal” type and a desert type.
After looking through all of them, I decided on the Tokyo Noodle Drops, and the Choco Banana Crepe Drops.
First up – Tokyo Noodle Drops which are soy sauce based ramen noodles (shouyu). The taste of these, while accurate, were a bit strong for me. It definitely tastes like eating ramen in small candy drop form, but after a few minutes, the taste became a bit overpowering. I made a few co-workers try them, and the reactions were definitely positive, but personally, I don’t know that I’ll be able to eat the entire tin worth – thankfully I’ve got people to share with. Tokyo’s Cat Cafes

Originally started in Osaka, a new style of cafe is opening up in Tokyo. These cafes have a staff of cats on hand that the cafe patrons can come and hang out with while doing what it is people normally do in these cafes. Each cafe has their own rules on dealing with the cats, and the provide toys to play with.
I need to go to Tokyo!
